My Woodworking Journey

My woodworking journey began in the south of France, restoring old French buildings — where I first discovered my passion for working with timber. Determined to make this my career, I moved to Shrewsbury in the UK and completed a one-year degree in Bench Joinery. I then worked alongside master craftsmen in solid timber joinery and fine furniture making, refining my skills and attention to detail. After moving to New Zealand, I've spent over 15 years creating high-quality timber joinery built to New Zealand standards. I later became a workshop manager, supplying some of Auckland's top bars, restaurants, and large commercial projects with premium handcrafted joinery.
